This shot shows a large, remote arch on the edge of a canyon rim in Arizona. I waited until the sun fell just below the top of the arch in order to capture the sunstar effect seen in ths image. The sandstone bowl beneath the arch acts as a giant reflector and bounces warm light onto the front of the arch.
