I took this shot of the nearly 300-foot-tall Fish Creek Falls near Steamboat Springs, Colorado in late autumn. Although the fals are impressive, they can be difficult to photograph. So I hiked up the stream until I found an interesting foreground and made that a dominant part of the shot.
