This bend in the Colorado River has been photographed countless times from high above at Dead Horse Point State Park. I decided to try to photograph it from a much closer perspective, so I drove to this overlook along the White Rim Trail. I waited until the sun started to sink behind a butte and then took three ultrawide 14mm photos and stitched them all together to create this image.
