This photograph was taken along Owl Creek Pass in the Cimarron Mountains. Although the Cimarron Mountains have a lot of grand scenics, it also affords many good opportunities for close-up shots. In this image, the fascinating, crooked aspen trees caught my eye and made for some interesting patterns.
