Thelma & Louise Point

I shot this aerial photo over the Colorado River during twilight, when the Belt of Venus and Earth's shadow were visible above the La Sal Mountains. As the title suggests, this is the spot where Thelma & Louise drove their vehicle off a cliff in a famous movie scene. Although they said it was the Grand Canyon in the movie, this scene was actual filmed near Moab, Utah.
